Things have definitely changed. Drastically so.
It was glaringly obvious tonight.
No wonder I feel out of place and … handled.
I am being placated. I see this while pretending I don’t know any better.
The time for goodbye is approaching fast.
Only this time… it won’t be announced.
There will be no… “trusting” that others know what’s best for me.
There will be no impediments.
